Róisín Bugler coordinates ‘A Flow of Words’ literary show on Scariff Bay Community Radio. Her poetry has appeared in Boyne Berries, Ropes, The Poetry Bus, Sonder Magazine and Quarryman and a number of online publications. She was the winner of Strokestown Percy French prize for Witty Verse and runner up in the Padraig Colum International Gathering competition both 2019. She has been a committee member of Mountshannon Arts since 2018.
Trees are rewilded, wounded, reclaimed, reset. There are generational poems and tales of grandmothers, mothers, daughters, patriarchy, apple tarts, hopes, dreams, losses and survival. We have the renewing force of a dip in the sea, a trip back in time to the Mountshannon Regatta and the green persistence of that man Pan. We even have an old Ford Cortina!
