Kayak and SUP
Over the Festival weekend, Derg Isle Adventure Centre, Scariff will run a series of taster sessions in both Kayaking and Stand up Paddleboarding. Experience the view of Holy Island and Lough Derg from a
different perspective! Take the unique opportunity to try out these increasingly popular water activities from Mountshannon Harbour.
Advance booking is preferred and availability equired from the festival website.
Full instruction, supervision and safety equipment will be provided.
This will be open to those with festival wristbands.
Spaces are limited to max 6 people per half an hour.
Weather Dependent
Kayaks and SUPs will alternate every 30 mins with Kayaking on the hour
and Paddleboarding on the half hour
from 12 midday until 4pm.
Saturday 4 June evening at 9pm, participants are invited to join our Sunset kayak tour around the beautiful Inis Cealtra. Explore this site of rich ecclesiastical history when illuminated only by the summer moon.
A tourworthy of making any bucket list.
The tour is expected to last approximately 60mins.
Our sunset kayak will be at a cost of €20 per person with a festival wristband.
