A Flow of Words Call Out

A Flow of Words on Scariff Bay Community radio with Mountshannon Arts is offering writers the opportunity to partake in two zoom workshops with creative writing tutors Anne McDonald and Frances Browner.   

  • Places are free but limited

  • Both zoom workshops will take place on Thursday evenings in April, dates and time TBC

  • Anne and Frances will offer email feedback on the participants works of poetry /prose and offer advice on spoken word and delivery

  • Participants will work on pieces of poetry or prose (or both) with the view to performing the piece at a festival broadcast of A Flow of Words or if unavailable in person at that time for a future FoW show

Anne McDonald

Anne McDonald (B.A., M.Phil) is a creative writing teacher and award-winning spoken word performer.She has facilitated The Artist’s Way and creative writing classes for several years. She has been a prize winner in the Strokestown International Poetry competition, was shortlisted in the RTE Frances MacManus short story competition and winner of Skerries and Ballina poetry competitions. She has performed in Ireland and the UK as part of a "Women Of Wit" collective. Her poetry collection Crows' Books was published in March 2021.

Frances Browner
