Banner Making in Iniscealtra National School

Local Textile artist Nicola Henley, is actively working with 4th, 5th and 6th class In Iniscealtra National School.

The will create a series of new street banners for the Mountshannon Arts Festival. These workshops will provide an opportunity for around 27 young people to come together to work creatively on a community project which will have long lasting impact and add to the festival atmosphere.. Each double sided banner will be colourful and decorative using images made with batik/wax resist and fabric dyes on the theme of ‘PATTERNS IN NATURE’.
