A Hooley of Tales
Grab your seats and hang on tight, Niall de Búrca is coming to Mountshannon Arts Festival for a hooley of tales!
More dangerous than the pied piper, de Búrca will cast a spell on young and old alike. Join us at 1pm in the Marquee for a feast of world tales.
Raised on the wild Atlantic coast, Niall travels the world performing stories of derring-do. He has worked on six continents in countries as diverse as Romania, Azerbaijan and Ghana. Using his voice with a craftman’s skill, de Búrca turns an ancient art form on its head with tremendous energy and superb timing. To quote the Vienna Review of Books:
“His ability to evoke a wide range of emotions from his rapt audiences enables him to bewitch people with his stories and make listening to him as well as watching him an experience” Vienna Review of Books
