Symbolic Handtying Rituals - Do you share a connection of the heart with someone special in your life? Maybe a lover, a bestest friend or with family members. Why not celebrate this love with ceremony. I will be offering Symbolic Handtying Rituals at this year’s Mountshannon Arts Festival on 1st & 2nd June. You can choose to tie an Infinity Knot with a selection of ribbons, or to do a simple Unity Knot with the homemade plaited fabric ties. Both are beautiful. You can also tie in a wee charm, handmade using buttons from my grannies ancient button box. I am delighted to have collaborated with local herbalist Julie Ann O’Connor to be able to offer the option of using a scented oil as part of the ritual as a way of capturing the moment with all the senses. So be you lovers, friends or family I have written a short bespoke ceremony for each of these loving bonds and I look forward to joining your hands in celebration. Cost - €25 (30 euros for scented option) Book directly with Gill on - 086 606 8908
At the festival market in June, we will be hosting a plant sale, with all money raised going to the Scariff Hotel residents so that they are able to use Scariff Co-op kitchen. You can support this, by growing a few plants to bring along as a donation, and of course, by purchasing other plants. Plant Sale - Why not just separate some clumps of plants that you have too much of...pop them in a pot, and get them settled in before the 1st of June. I know for myself that many of you have plants that I'd love to have in my own garden, and I'm sure you'll find many plants at the sale that you would love to buy for your own gardens. It's a Win Win for everyone.
